About Us
History
Established in 1971, the Maryland Building Officials Association (MBOA)
is a professional organization comprised of over 400 county and municipal
code enforcement officials from across Maryland. Our mission is to promote
professionalism and consistency in the application and enforcement of building
codes throughout the State. To accomplish our mission we sponsor statewide
education programs, disseminate code-related information, and review and comment
on legislation.
