Instruction will be provided by Jim Mailey who is the training manager for Simpson Strong-Tie. His program titled “Deck Framing Connections Seminar” reviews the correct and incorrect structural methods for building a deck, shows why certain commonly accepted practices should not be used and provides informative tips that the novice to the most experienced deck builder will find useful. Jim earned a B.A. from Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, in 1980.
