Click Here for Event Flyer Day 1: Wednesday 5/14 - Significant Changes to the 2024 IECC – Residential Provisions
This class will assist participants in implementing the transition from the 2021 International Energy Conversation Code® (IECC®) to the 2024 edition. Course material will focus on specific key changes that have occurred in the IECC - Residential provisions, the reasoning behind the changes, and their effects on the implementation and enforcement of the energy code. Participants will gain knowledge of new and updated topics including third party inspection agencies, residential performance testing, additional energy efficiency credits, and requirements for the performance compliance paths.
Day 2: Thursday 5/15 - Significant Changes to the 2024 IECC – Commercial Provisions
This class will assist participants in implementing the transition from the 2021 International Energy Conversation Code® (IECC®) to the 2024 edition. Course material will focus on specific key changes that have occurred in the IECC - Commercial provisions, the reasoning behind the changes, and their effects on the implementation and enforcement of the energy code. New topics incorporated into the 2024 IECC will be discussed including thermal bridging, total system performance ratio, and renewable and load management credits.
